RPS debuts its 2004 GSXR-600 at Oak Hill Raceway.

Despite the tremendously hectic and busy schedule, RPS debuted the 2004 GSXR-600. With the minimum of parts installed required to race, the RPS GSXR-600 worked very well. RPS owner Marcus McBain was able to achieve a best lap of the weekend of 1:28.2 on his 600cc machine. The telltale sign of the weekend was at the end of the weekend, the motorcycle still only registered 118  miles (The motorcycle arrived at Oak Hill with 24 miles on the Odometer from the motor break-in). All told, in less than 15 laps of practice, this motorcycle was setup to run times that would have put it in the top 5 of the 600 superstock/superbike classes had RPS owner/rider Marcus McBain been able to start anywhere but the back rows!!!

This Suzuki looks to be a real contender for the club racer!!! The first installment of this article is coming up and will showcase base bhp and slip-on/full system HP numbers as well as the suspension setup options.
