Busy week for RPS owner Marcus McBain...

In conjunction with finalizing sponsored rider contracts, Marcus McBain attended the CMRA awards banquet as well as hold his final Advanced Racing School for the year. In short, things are LOOKING GREAT FOR 2004.

CMRA Banquet - The evening started off with a big surprise as Scott Beckley coordinated with the CMRA to present an award of appreciation to Marcus in front of the hundreds assembled. Many would kid Marcus about the "trophy" that was presented, but it meant more to him than the sprint trophy he would receive later in the evening. A token of appreciation goes a long way...

The drinking that occurs after most banquets did not fail to provide entertainment for all. Generous drinking lead to a half-hearted fight between two racers while most needed to wear knee high boots to wade through the fun-hearted bullshit that was being thrown. All-in-all a great time and a rough hangover.

The final Marcus McBain Advanced Racing school was nothing short of another huge success. Since making 45 minutes of the class dedicated to a full suspension session/seminar, the riders have really been energetic about with the compliments regarding this instruction. The goal of the school is not to make a racer an expert on bike setup, but rather have the riders be aware of the many details that provide success on the race track. Combined with actual riding instruction, the school has been nothing short of a HUGE success this year. THANK YOU TO THE RIDERS that have put their trust in Marcus McBain and his Advanced Racing School.

The CMRA banquet and holding the final Advanced Racing School for the year was a great year to wind down a very successful 2003!!!
