Ty Howard lead the cast of stars that used RPS products and services to win and take podium positions. Ty destroyed the old record held by Hallet homeboy Sam McDonald by over a half a second. Also featured this weekend were RPS sponsored riders and customers that dominated that enabled over 30 wins and podium positions at the Hallet, Oklahoma facility. Other significant RPS winners and podium finishers were Phillip Lawlis, Brad Kelly, Big Air Racing, LSTD, Team Anvil, Chris Romeo, and MRA star Rich Deeming.
The second consecutive track record by Howard was a example of not only the tremendous talent he possesses, but really emphasizes the AMA caliber service club racers receive when they use RPS for their suspension solutions. Howard uses the same over the counter available valving that RPS customers around the country can receive for a just a few hundred dollars. WOW!!!
Heading into the CMRA June 19-20 round, Ty Howard shoots for a 3rd track record in a row. Without a doubt, his incredible talent is the catalyst that drives the success of Howard and his sponsors, but RPS is definitely making the positive impact Ty needs to continue to break track records. For RPS owner Marcus McBain, this sponsorship is more out of friendship and enjoyment as much as anything else. In 2000, Howard and McBain were teammates on the CMRA #1 plate earning Team Green Kawasaki endurance team. With McBain on the other side of the pit wall none of the success or enjoyment is gone.
